Senior Research Fellow Dr Jessica Sellick

Jessica has been supporting the development of the National Centre since 2016. She undertook some of the initial research, interviewed key stakeholders, and presented her findings at a symposium in 2017 from which a clear way forward for the Centre was identified.   

Jessica has a BA, MSc and PhD in Geography.  Her research interests span rural development, health, social care, employment and associated policy issues and evaluation. She has published her work in journals, written numerous reports for Government Departments and is experienced in disseminating research findings for academic, policy and practitioner audiences.

Jessica is a visiting fellow at Huddersfield Business School; a Chartered Geographer accredited by the Royal Geographical Society; a Fellow of The Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA); and a member of the Institute of Economic Development.
